From the series environmental yarn / made of recycled materials /. Sturdy, highly resistant to wear yarn intended for knitting socks. Perfect for warm sweaters, jackets and vests. From 200 grams - one hank, you can knit a pair of men's socks.
The easiest way to knit socks is to knit with circular needles or knitting needles from the ribbing to your toes, then suture. That is the easiest is obvious, but is also the most economical, because in general socks tear on the bottom, then we only stitch up the torn part! How to do it: let's say 40 stitches for a lady's sock, for men - about 44 stitches. Knit the ribbing, then 4-5 cm straight knit. We leave half, ie. 20/22 / stitches on a spare needle and begin to knit half the sock - in the same way as in the "German" heel - knit 14 rows and begin to shrink for the heel. Here I wrote 20, which is not exactly divided by 3, so for the middle we leave 6 stitches. We use short rows to reach the middle 6, then pick up stitches from from left and right until we get 20 again and rejoin with the rest of the stitches. Knit all stitches until you reach the toes. Close off the stitches by using kitchener stitch.
The sock is ready - just stick to it. They are very comfortable for people who often wear wool socks - for tourism or for your grandfather, for example.
