What does cake yarn mean?

Cake yarn is the fashionable name for yarn in cylindrical or truncated conical shape:

- in which several colors are alternated visibly and smoothly / with overflow / or cut off over long distances, forming concentric circles

- which consists of one or more threads, freely duplicated, twisted, knitted or joined by another technology

- contains a sufficient amount of yarn for a whole product - scarf, blouse, dress, tablecloth, carpet, baby diaper, blanket
