Muffin Hexi

date: 15/04/2026

Crocheting this cardigan feels like a small, sweet indulgence – light, colorful, and truly addictive. “Muffin Hexi” is a modern crochet design made from two hexagons that come together to form a comfortable and eye-catching garment with minimal seaming.

It’s perfect for beginners with basic skills, as well as more experienced makers looking for a quick and satisfying project. With the beautiful color transitions of Stenli Muffin, you’ll create a unique look without the need for complex yarn changes – just keep crocheting and enjoy the process.

  • The hexagons are worked in the round without turning.
  • At the end of each round of the hexagons you should replace the last “ch 4” with “ch 2 and dc on top of the first dc/bobble st”.
  • Ch 2 and dc on top of the first dc/bobble st counts as a ch-4-sp.
  • Dc4tog doesn’t count as a stitch.

Repeat the same steps for the other hexagon. Join both hexagons together (with the wrong side of the hexagons facing up), forming the back seam.

Cut yarn off and weave in the ends.

Edging

Place 2 sc, ch 2 in same ch-4-sp where you placed the first 2 dc in this round, sl st into first dc, cut yarn off and weave in the ends.

Cuffs

Attach yarn to any ch-7-sp on the sleeve, place 4 dc per ch-7-sp, 2 dc per ch-3-sp and per ch-5-sp, 1 dc per ch-2-sp and per corner (at the shoulder seam). (36 dc in total)
