Cut off yarn, weave in the ends and sew the ribbing on the body starting from the left and finishing to the right corner.

 

Leaves (optional):

Switch to 2.25mm hook ( Note: If you want to make different sized leaves you could use 2 strands of yarn and a 3.5mm hook)

 

Ch 10, sc in 2nd ch from hook, dc, trc in next 4 sts, dc,hdc, (sc, sl st, picot) in next st, continue to work on the other side of the foundation ch: sc, hdc, dc, trc in next 4 sts, dc, sc

To make the stem ch6 (you can easily adjust the length by simply making more or less chains), sl st to the 2nd ch, sl st in each ch till you reach the leaf base, sl st to the base. Cut off yarn, weave in ends and place evenly across the bottom part of the cardigan.
