A smiling girl stands frozen at the starting line...
And it’s strange that she’s unfairly called Baba Marta.
Day one… There she is… She arrives… A Proto-Bulgarian legend...
And with her, Pizho winks at us, tightly holding his Penda...
How I wish we could forget, just for a little while… Just for today…
Our selfish nature and the political fever...
To protect ourselves from envy… From our troubled existence...
And stop hating each other… For a moment… If it's possible...
And maybe… I don’t know… Then… Infected by kindness,
we’ll all embrace tightly… Smiling… Red and white...
Equally Bulgarian… With a shared destiny carried through the ages…
Bulgaria… What do you expect… Another boot… Or a flower…
But today… Where can you find this… A sea of Martenitsi...
An inexplicable love… A necessary one… For everyone…
And our future cries… Whimpers, left to fate...
And happiness will wait… Until the next Baba Marta...
