In the spring anything is possible or how to crochet a bag

date: 18/05/2021

We are in the middle of spring, everything has blossomed and budded. We have a lot of energy, everything seems possible to us - even if we knit a bag. On a hook. Here I will tell you how to do it with two simple models - a small, round bag and the forgotten, but again returning to fashion shopping bag.

HOW TO KNIT A ROUND BAG ON A HOOK

You need textile yarn type Macaroni hook number 9 and scissors.

It starts with the so-called magic knot by making a chain. You should make a single crochet - take the hook from the thread, pierce under one stitch and so they become two. Then take again and pierce - this time through the two stitches. This is repeated 5 more times - a total of 6 on the circle. When you reach the third, it is good to pull the tail left at the beginning slightly to tighten it. After knitting the sixth single crochet, tighten the tail a little more to join. You already have a small circle from which you will continue to make your bag bigger. Make in each hole twice a single crochet, to make a total of 12. Knit the next, third row, alternating in the first hole - once a single crochet, in the second - twice and so on until the end. They should become a total of 18. In the 4th row you alternate - 1, 1, 2 single crochet, the total number is 24. In the 5th row you alternate 2, 1, 1, 1. In the 6th row the alternation is 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, in 7 - 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, in 8, last of the increase, do 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2 In rows 9 and 10 you will not increase, you will only make one single hook. This will make the rounded part of the bag. Of course, there may be more rows - it depends on how deep you want your bag to be. You make two identical halves, which you then grip. Adjust the two halves so that the places where you finished knitting match. You make a simple knot on the hook and start. Pierce in each chain, through the two parts, grab the thread, pull and connect. And so on until you close the necessary part of the bag so that you leave a hole through which to insert and remove your belongings. The bag can be left like this, you can also put a zipper. For the handles - first you make a knot, from which you make a chain of 20 high fillings. Then poke in the third in a row and start with the same knitting with which you made the bag. This is how the first handle becomes. Cut a longer end so you can grab it by the bag - pierce one part - the ends to the inside of the bag. Then, using the hook, pierce and pull to fasten and make a knot at the bottom.

HOW TO KNIT A MARKET BAG ON A HOOK - NET TYPE

You need cotton macrame yarn, hook: 2.5 - 3 mm., Markers, needle with a blunt tip.

First knit a chain consisting of 143 stitches. On 1st row start from 11 stitches after the hook 1 double high filling (3 air stitches, skip 3, 1 double high filling) to the end of the row. On 2nd row: 7 air loops / instead of 1 double high filling + 1 air loop, skip 3 /, 1 double high filling in the double high filling from the previous row, (3 air loops, 1 double high filling in the double high filling from the previous row) is repeated until the end of the row as the last double high filling is knitted in the 4th loop of the chain at the end of the previous row. You must repeat the second row until you get 34 squares in length that match their number in width. Do not cut the thread.

The rows of folds follow to tighten the upper end. 1st row: 1 air loop, 1 low filling in the first double high filling from the previous row, 2 low fillings in the next chain from the bottom row (1 low filling in the next double high filling, 2 low fillings in the next chain) - until the end of the row , a total of 102 stitches. 2nd row: 1 air loop, 3 low fillings knitted together - until the end of the row, a total of 34 stitches. 3rd row: 1 air loop (1 low filling, 2 low fillings knitted together) - to the last loop, 1 low filling, a total of 23 stitches. From 4th to 9th row: 2 air loops - do not count as a loop, semi-high filling - until the end of the row. Cut the thread and sew to the opposite end in the first loop of the main chain.
1st row: 1 air loop, 3 low fillings in the first empty chain, (1 low filling at the beginning of the next double high filling, 2 low fillings in the next empty chain - until the end of the row, a total of 102 stitches. Rows 2 to 9 are repeat as in the previous scheme. The thread is not cut.
Next, the rows go around the end of the whole knitting so that the sides of the bag can be joined and the handles added. You start at the side edge. Mark the beginning of the line with a marker. It is important to see that on the first row 74 air loops form the handles, about 50 cm long, and if you want shorter or longer - you need to knit more or less air loops.

1st row: 1 air loop, knit along the side edge, knit 9 low fillings evenly along the curb until you reach the net. Put a marker, 3 low fillings in the first empty chain, (1 low filling on the side of 3 air loops, 2 low fillings in the next empty chain). This is repeated until the end of the net [102 stitches are obtained along its length]. Place a marker, 9 low fillings evenly up the curb, 74 air loops, 9 low fillings evenly down the curb until you reach the net, place a marker, 3 low fillings in the first empty chain, (1 low filling on the side of 3 air loops, 2 low filling in the next empty chain) - this is repeated until the end of the net [102 stitches are obtained along the length of the net]. Put a marker, 9 low stitches evenly up the curb, 74 air stitches, 1 glued stitch for the first low padding at the beginning of the row.

2nd row: Knit low filling to the first marker on the net, 1 low filling, 2 low fillings knitted together - the first stitch before the next marker, 1 low filling [you get 52 stitches between the two markers], low filling up in each stitch and down on the other became next to the next marker, 1 low filling, 2 low fillings knitted together - to the first stitch before the next marker [you get 52 stitches between the two markers], low filling up in each stitch.

3rd and 4th row: Low filling to the end of the row. With 1 glued stitch the knitting ends at the end of the 4th row.

Tie, cut and clean the thread.
