KNITTING A BABY VEST
The vest - part of the traditional Bulgarian costume has gradually started to be worn by everyone. We knit a vest for the baby and the child - to keep them warm, men wear - because it is stylish, and women - because it is interesting. Now we will tell about knitting a baby and children's vest.
For a newborn baby
Back: 45 stitches, 6 rows of rice knitting and 48 others. On row 49, bid 12 stitches on each side. Knit 10 rows of 2 front and 2 back. Fold the wrappers - from 2 to 1. Knit 2 rows with 2 front and 1 wrap. Fold the front ones as well - from 2 to 1 and knit 6 rows of 1 front and 1 back.Front: The same plus 6 more stitches for holes in 10 rows, shrink all 6 stitches in 44 rows. On the shoulder crochet two buttonholes and you're done.
In 2-3 years
200 g of yarn, hoop № 4, auxiliary needle, 3 buttons. Back: 58 elastic loops, alternating 2 front and 2 back, length 3 cm. Continue front. After 25 cm, sew on every second row on both sides for the sleeve curve - once 3, twice 2, three times 1 stitch. After 38 cm, close all the stitches.
Forelegs: 30 stitches, as the back, after 9 cm make the incision for the pocket, 24 stitches, and the last 18 remove on an auxiliary needle, leaving 6 facial. In the next row above the removed ones dial 18 again and continue facing. After 21 cm, shape the neckline: on every second row, squeeze 10 stitches 10 times. Knit the sleeve curve as on the back. Finish after 38 cm. Knit the other front in a mirror.
Pocket: Transfer the stitches from the auxiliary to the hoop and knit 3 cm elastic 2 front, 2 back, and the first and last only front. Close the stitches. From the upper opening of the pocket dial 18 stitches face and after 11 cm finish. Sew the pocket and other parts. With the hoop, dial stitches for the neckline and décolleté. Elastic 2/2 as on the left side at an equal distance make 3 holes (1 fold, 1 cloak). After 3 cm the beating is ready. Sew the buttons on the right. Again, gather stitches around the sleeves, 3 cm elastic. Ready.
KNITTING A CHILDREN'S VEST
In 4-5 years
Back: 96 stitches, needles 2.75 mm., Equal to 5 cm. Elastic 1 front, 1 back, finish pack. Switch to needles 3.25 mm., Smooth face to 27.5 cm., Finish upside down.
Sleeve holes: Twist 4 stitches at a time at the beginning of the next 4 rows. There are 72 left in the last row. Flat, up to a hole height of 14 cm.
Shoulders: Squeeze 7 stitches at the beginning of the next 4 rows, to 44 on the needle. Fold 9 at the beginning of the next 2 rows - 26 remain, transfer to an additional needle or thread.
Front part: 96 stitches, needles 2.75 mm., Equal to 5 cm. Elastic 1 front, 1 back, finish pack. Switch to needles 3.25 mm., Smooth face to 7.5 cm., Finish upside down.
Sleeves: Sew 4 stitches at a time at the beginning of the next 4 rows. There are 80 stitches left on the last row.
Sleeve opening and neckline on the left, front part: In the next front knit 2 front together as 1, 36 front, 2 front as 1, transfer the other 40 on an additional needle or thread. Turn, knit to the end 38 packs. Squeeze 1 stitch from the sleeve opening in the next 3 rows and 1 from the neckline in every third row from the next 12 to 23. Straight, to the height of the sleeve opening 14 cm. Finish the package.
Shoulder left, front: Twist 7 stitches at a time at the beginning of the next first and third rows. There are 9 left in a row. Finish the fourth wrap and the beginning of the fifth face complete the remaining 9 stitches at once.
Sleeve opening and neckline on the right, front part: Tie the thread to the front side of the 40 stitches left on the extra needle. At the beginning of the row knit two front stitches as one, 36 front sts, 2 front sts as 1. 38 stitches remain on the needle. Squeeze 1 from the sleeve opening in the next 3 rows and 1 from the neckline in every third row of the next 12, until 23 stitches remain. Flat, up to a sleeve height of 14 cm. Finish in wrapping.
Right shoulder: Sew 7 stitches at a time at the beginning of the next first and third rows. There are 9 left in a row. Knit the fourth loop and at the beginning of the fifth face complete the remaining 9 stitches at once.
Finishing: Iron with a damp cloth on the packaging side. Make the shoulder and side seams.
Beats the V-neck: Needle 2.75 mm., 8 stitches from top to bottom from the left side of the neckline, 1 front in the center, 37 from the bottom up on the right side and 46 on the back, including the 23 remaining on the extra needle - 122 stitches everything.
1 row of packages: front, package, etc. to the end, place a marker on the center stitch, at the lowest point of V.
2nd front: elastic 1 x 1 to the last stitch before the marker, fold right front, curl left front, elastic 1 x 1 to the end - 120 stitches.
3rd pack: Eraser 1 x 1 from start to finish.

Finish all stitches at once loosely.
Beams around the sleeve holes: On the front side, needles 3.25 mm., 44 front on the front of the hole and so on the back - a total of 88. 6 rows of elastic 1 x 1, loosely finish all the stitches at once.
